Michael’s creative journey began with a profound appreciation for capturing moments through the lens of a camera. His expertise in photography is unparalleled, honed through his experiences serving as a Combat Photographer in the U.S. Marines. Notably, he displayed remarkable courage and dedication in combat, earning the Purple Heart Medal for his bravery. Michael’s service to his country further shaped his perspective and strengthened his ability to capture raw and compelling
images.
His passion for storytelling transcends photography and seamlessly translates into the realm of videography. Michael possesses an innate ability to capture and produce breathtaking videos that engage and captivate audiences. His creative vision, technical prowess, and attention to detail make him a sought-after videographer.
In addition to his skills in photography and videography, Michael is a skilled graphic designer. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and 2 Associates Degrees in Photography, Digital Multimedia and Web Design, he combines his artistic talents and technical expertise to craft visually stunning and impactful designs.
As a drone pilot, Michael takes his creativity to new heights, quite literally. He leverages the aerial perspective to capture breathtaking shots and provide a unique visual experience. His skillful drone piloting adds an extra dimension to his creative repertoire.
Notably, he is recognized as one of the few Aerial 360 photographers in the United States, pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling.
Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is a devoted family man and cherishes his role as a father to his three-year-old daughter, Ruby. He finds solace and inspiration in the outdoors, immersing himself in nature to fuel his creative spirit.
In addition to his various endeavors, Michael is also the founder of Shuttering Moments, a platform dedicated to sharing his passion for photography and videography. Through this venture, he continues to inspire and educate fellow creatives, fostering a community built on creativity and artistic expression.
With an extensive educational background, having attended the Defense Information School twice, New England Technical Institute, and Rhode Island College twice, Michael combines his formal training with his inherent talent to create exceptional visual content that resonates with his audience.
